For me, it wasn’t quite like that.
The decision to build a life in Australia wasn’t really mine at all — not directly, anyway. It was made by my parents, in 1985, under circumstances that left very little room for choice.

That story actually starts a lot earlier than most people realise. In 1985, Ibrahim moved from Lebanon to Australia with his family as a young child. Over the years that followed, he picked things up from his family, tried his hand at different trades, and eventually found his way into construction. Since then, he’s been part of more than 1000 construction projects.
